President and CEO of Earthview Capital, Candido Viyella also is the Chairman Emeritus of Jackson Health Foundation based in Miami, Florida. In this role, Candido Viyella assists the Jackson Health System with raising funds for various projects.

An arm of the Jackson Health System, the Foundation raises funds through its Miracle Fund. The mission of the Jackson Health Foundation Miracle Fund is to help healthcare organizations within its system in making improvements to their program, whether it involves renovations or funding the purchase of new equipment.

During COVID, the Miracle Fund assisted Jackson Health System with treating patients with the virus. The Foundation was able to raise more than $11 million in the year following the March 2020 pandemic.

Another project the Miracle Fund supports is the Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center for The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at UHealth/Jackson Memorial. The Center is designed for patients recovering from spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries, in addition to other complex conditions. A central feature of the center is its ZeroG Bait and Balance systems, which help patients practice standing, walking, and climbing.

The Miracle Fund also supports the Miami Transplant Institute. One of the largest of its kind in nation, the Institute performs just about every type of transplant.

Money raised for the fund also goes toward supporting its Critical Care Pavilion, Jackson West Medical Center, and other centers in the Jackson Health System.
